Her family, originally from the city if Iani, fled Syara in 1987 as part of the ''Vjeraniki''- Syarans who emmigrated to Acrea during and after the [[Refusal War]], primarily from Makedon and Galania. Her family was secured passage and resettlement due to her father's position as a [[Royalists (Syara)|Royalist]] officer working closely with Acrean troops deployed to support the Royalist war effort. The family's prominence in Acrea arose from her father's postwar military and political exploits. Following the family's resettlement in Acrea, Damir Vranić re-entered military service in the [[Acrean Armed Forces]] where he would serve with distinction in border conflicts in [[Shalum]] against [[Æþurheim]] before returning to Acrea to serve as a military attaché in the Riksdag.
