The StG M6, officially the Stormgevär Modell 2006, is an Acrean 5.56x45mm select-fire rifle designed by the Stuhr Arsenal for the Acrean Armed Forces. The M6 was born out of a program to combine the operating system of the StG M68 with the ergonomics of the earlier StG M65 and StG M81, Acrean derivatives of the Shalumite StG 64. The M6 was first used by Acrean forces in 2003, and officially adopted as the standard service rifle of the Royal Acrean Army in 2006.
