Amenria is an absolute monarchy with a bicameral legislature, known as the Imperial Council. The Monarch, currently Tianshi acts as both head of state and head of government.
The Empire does not have political parties in the usual sense. In its place are the Amenrian Noble Family, with the Ramadhan Family dominating it, closely followed by the transhumanist Huang-Ahn Cooperative and the moralistic Ministry of Religion. The current council majority is composed of Ramadhan councilors since the founding of the nation in 2042.
The judiciary system,
Government
Amenria operates under a constitution, as long as it does not conflict with the word of the Emperor. The nation is officially classified as a federal Islamic absolute monarchy, although in practice the monarch delegates so much to his officials, elected or otherwise, that it has been described as an executive monarchy.
Heavenly Emperor
The Heavenly Emperor is often considered "the face" of the Empire itself, with some arguing that his dominance in politics is contested, or even overshadowed by the empresses and concubines. He (or she, in possible future cases) appoints ambassadors, ministers, judges, and secretaries. Being the head of the ruling Noble Family means that the Emperor often has to mediate disagreements between other Noble Families, acting in the best interests of nation as a non-partisan figure as part of his or her mandate.
Aside from appointing the above officials, the Heavenly Emperors powers include, but are not limited to, the ability to declare war, sign treaties and trade agreements, direct foreign policy.
Ministries
Individual ministers (Chinese:部长; pinyin: Bùzhǎng are appointed by the monarch. All cabinet nominees must hold both Amenrian citizenship and a seat at the Imperial Council. Ministries revealed in-game so far are:
