The Paretian Celestial Republic (República Celestial Paretiana), was a theocratic directoral republic located in Paretia, mostly located in what is Esmeira and Tosutonia. It was formed by occupying forces of the Etrurian First Republic in western Paretia, working alongside Paretian theo-republicans who supported the Etrurian cause. It is often considered a puppet state of the Etrurian First Republic, and did not succeed in ruling all of Paretia.
The Feminine Section of the PNNP (Portuguese language: Seção Feminina da PNNP), commonly called the Seção Feminina, was the women's wing of the New Nation of Paretia Party and eventually a part of the regime of Functionalist Paretia, it was lead by the monarch, Roberta II.

In 1790 the Etrurian First Republic launched it's Liberation Crusade into Esmeira, crossing the Paretian Aventines and occupying much of the western reaches of the country swiftly. The Etrurians knew of the growing Pronuncist movement and stirring of revolution in Paretian at the time, and asked for these movements to defect and join them in forming a ecumenical republic. Most of the Pronuncists rejected this, their ideology was vastly anti-clerical and more aiken to the Weranian Republic, they instead used their revolutionary militias to fight against the Etrurian occupation alongside the Paretian regular army. Some revolutionaries who aligned more with the ruling Pantheonisti in Etruria would decide to join them, including Inigo Vergara, a military officer and revolutionary, in 1893 they created the official constitution of the republic. Vergara was made First Citizen of Paretia, and the Chairman of the Ecumenical Council was Bishop Gregori Palomar. The legislature was the Republican Court of Paretia. It took most of it's inspiration from the Etrurian government.
It became a major part of the party with Roberta II at it's head. It would work in different sections of the party, including working with party outreach, women's issues, charity, and even military training for women. It would come to be one of the largest women's wings in Euclea at it's height.

Throughout the first years of the Celestial Republic it expanded across western Paretia as the Etrurian armies pushed further. It's capitol was moved to Ocerto, but Vergara announced the goal of the nation is to "rule all of Paretia, with the help of our friends of Etruria we will overthrow the tyranny of the Paretian monarchy, the Lord is with us. Remember Paretians that we bow to no King, only God." Still, even with the distain for the monarchy, the government of the Celestial Republic was widely unpopular and only seen as an extension of Etrurian rule over Paretia, revolts in the occupied areas were beginning to grow.
It became close allies with other women's wings of functionalist parties such as in Gaullica, Amathia, Blostland, and Ardesia.

By the 1800s the war in Paretia was becoming a stalemate, and the Weranian Republic had fallen, putting the pressure of the Euclean powers onto Etruria and it's allies. The Etrurians and pro-Celestial forces were crushingly defeated at the Battle of Sargeive and began to be pushed back. By 1808 the government in Ocerto surrendered to Paretian forces and the control of occupied territories returned to Etruria until the fall of the Etrurian First Republic.

History

Creation

Queen Roberta II, a devout functionalist and leader of the Feminine Section

The PNNP did not have a fully functional women's section after it's creation in 1919, it was a loose group of female members of the party at the time. It had no definitive leader.

By her coronation in 1921, Roberta II, Queen of Paretia, was becoming a supporter of the PNNP and functionalism. She had connections with many party members already, including people like Rafael Azevedo and Filipe Noronha. She would become a close ally of Carlos Palmeira, who saw her support of the party as a major win and way to expand influence.

Roberta II would eventually join the PNNP in 1923, Palmeira would ask her to become the leader of a reformed women's section of the party. Her and Palmeira would reform the Seção Feminina in 1923. The section would take hold on women's issues and party outreach. Roberta's membership of the party also brought in appeal from monarchist elements in the country. The Seção Feminina would hold rallies, charity events, and would even train women in combat. This latter would try and exist according to Palmeira to "bring women into the political fold of functionalism, violence is the natural state of mankind, women included. They must be ready to fight for their nation."

The Seção Feminina would expand after the Coalition Decree in 1925 after the takeover the PNNP after Roberta II's coup. This would bring in monarchist and traditionalist women's groups under the control of the wing.
