There were various political factions in early modern Yisrael (1715-1919) that strongly influenced the Monarchy of Yisrael and Yisraeli politics and culture. Some of the factions at the end of this period directly organized themselves into the first and most prominent political parties: the Constitutional Liberal Party and the Royalist Conservative Party. While many factions in each era were based on personality and clashes for political power (and hence rarely lasted long), many of the most influential factions were guided by an increasing ideological fault-line as the time period approached modernity: the divide between classical liberalism and Illumination values versus traditionalist conservatism.
