The council, which is organizationally attached to the Federal Prime Minister's Office, is made up of voting members from politics. The National Security Council was created as a result of the [[World War (Iearth)|World War]] with a unanimous decision of the [[Federal Chamber (Besmenia)|Federal Chamber]]. The council began its work on April 10, 1955.
