Lucius Plainier PC RWC is an Aquitaynian Marine general who serves as the Commandant of the Royal Marines. He previously served as the Commander Combatant Command Insula Fera and Lorecia from 2016-2018.
Born in Cape Town, Aquitayne, Plainier graduated from the Royal War College in June 1986 with a Masters of Arts degree in International Relations and Military Strategy. In 2022, Plainier was nominated for promotion to general and appointed as Commandant of the Royal Marines by his majesty Samuel I.
