Aetherium is generally practiced in a diverse set of ways, though it usually requires the use of rituals and Aetherium. Aether permiates the world and is most noticeably present in various mineral deposits, which are called Aetherium. Use of Aetherium is used as a catalyst in rituals. While not completely requires, its use allows less powerful magic users to have access to the same spells, as Aetherium can make up the difference in innate magical power of the user.
