Origin

Although being one of the hominid family, they have achieved their first steps to civilization long before the age of man. The first records of native habitation were the Serren tribes that have migrated from the north, affected by a bitter ice-age that was wrought on their former homeland. In 8000 BC, the same group of tribes have formed the Lethariil Empire.

Appearances

The Serren are fair beings possessing long ears, a pale complexion, and a generally lanky build. They are largely androgynous and have a peaceful demeanor.

Attributes

The Soul's Immortality

One of their main differences from the other races are the strength of their spirit that allows constant reincarnation of their kind, enhances their magic, sharpens their mind and frees them from mortal instincts. All of the Serren have deep understanding of magic that forms the cornerstone of their society. empts to deviate from the original design always results in catastrophic failure. Their focus on the spirit has although neglected their physique, being comparable to an unfit human without any exercise. They are although both nimble and light on their feet, and can move in short bursts of speed. Walking long distances or working blue collar jobs easily tire them out, especially when wearing heavy clothing / carrying heavy equipment. Their guts couldn't process tough meat and vegetables, vomiting in response if they eat unprocessed dishes. They are unable to store fats or build muscle mass compared to a human.
