Hundes, officially the Crown State of Hundes, is a federal state bordering Jotavs to the north, Rwycorr to the west, West of Leucen in the south, The Midlands to the south-east, and North of Leucen to the east. With a population of 1.4 million; it is the 21th-most populous state and the 23th-densely populated; and with an area of 26,233 km2 (10,129 sq mi), it is the 6th-largest state by area. Its capital and largest city, Pinesboury, houses the royal summer estate of Fyndawyn Castle, located in the footsteps of the Great Jotavish Mountains. Nicknamed the "Staircase to heaven", the state is considered the southern end of the Great Jotavish Mountains. The highest peak in all of Chatten and Leucen, Mount Colbyranth, is located 67 kilometers north of Pinesboury. The state also borders the city of Lech to the west, which serves as the capital of Rwycorr. The state is popularly known as the "Hiker's delight", with several hiking spots located within the first few kilometers of the mountain range.
