The Mining Federation is a mega-corporation consisting of networks of miners who harvest and control natural resources throughout the Talin Galaxy. The Mining Federation has large influence and power over the Outer Band and Tampina Arm -- specifically its overspace lanes. Headquartered on the planet Sunnoth, the Federation's early strongholds included planets with fuels vital to overspace travel. By 3000 AHT, the Mining Federation had dominated billions of young, nameless, metal-rich planets in the spiral arms of the galaxy.
