The Obsidian Hand is a criminal syndicate in the Talin Galaxy. The syndicate is headquartered on the Kossis homeworld of Kasumell, maintains bases on many planets operating mainly in the Outer Band and Tampina Arm outside of the jurisdiction of the Galactic Union, but having significant underworld presences on Union planets like Aciorus, Haivis, and Kicceon. Obsidian Hand has beneficial, though oftentimes contentious, relations with other crime organizations such as the Idir Collective and Citt Syndicate. Obsidian Hand deals in illegal ventures like sentient-trafficking, spice smuggling, and assassinations.

Adversaries

In 3024 AHT, spice smuggler Jastre Ainsspel tried to betray the Obsidian Hand by selling off a shipment for personal profit. Upon his arrival to Suciria, he was picked up, interrogated, and tortured by the syndicate's local cell to determine where he hid the spice shipment.
