Bond Formation

Bond Formation (ⴍⴁⴊⴈⴂⴀⴚⴈⴄⴁⴈⴑ ⴔⴍⴍⴋⴈⴍⴄⴁⴀ ⴋⴀⴋⴀⴉⴀⴚⴄⴁⴑ ⴘⴍⴍⴈⴑ; obligatsiebis pormireba mamak’atsebs shoris) is the term used to describe a romantic relationship between two male Akannites, especially two male Akanovan K'vari Severibi. A bond formation is seen to be honored as a sortilege that lasts through both men's lifetimes. It is generally accepted that a Bond Formation lives past one's life and the sortilege of a Bond Formation seals the two Akanovans together, even past their natural lives. Bond formation is seen as strictly monogamous and does not see polygnous Bond Formations as sortilege and valid.

The practice of a Bond Formation dates back to the Pre-Constructionist Era and was later established as a formal ceremony with several traditions tied to it during the First Order of K'vari by Solomon the Wise. The First Order understood that the sortilege that was carried by a Bond Formation would require both members to refrain from other romantic or sexual activity with other members of the First Order. The sortilege that was carried with the Bond Formation was defined to be the widespread acceptance, blessing and sacrament of the emotional, spiritual and physical bond that two males of the order have created. This also encompassed its romantic and sexual relationship between two members, however, Bond Formations were also accepted to not have been romantic or sexual at all.

The Second Order of K'vari has liberalized the view of a Bond Formation slightly since its inception by the interpretation of the Laws of the Ark and the Collected Targmna. The necessity of a Bond Formation was dropped by the interpretation set forth by Tsiklauri Onkelos in the Onkelian Targmna, but still encouraged to undertake.
