Pyongtya is one of the most densely populated provinces in the country and is home to the provincial and legislative capital Antiytia It forms the cultural, commercial, financial, industrial, and residential centre of Anikatia.
History
Pyongtya was traditionally played one of major part in dynastic period. The Pyongtya Area has been home to Anikatian capitals for around many hundreds of years. Its near central location and relatively gentle landscape have given it a central role in the country's affairs.

Location
Pyongtya is situated on the central western coast of Anikatia.
Resources
The area of Pyongtya contains the backbone of the Anikatian manufacturing complex, the province is evenly developed in various industries such as heavy industry (electronics, machine, heavy and chemical industry, steel), light industry (textile), and farm, livestock and fisheries industry. Due to the influence of recent high wages, the weight of various manufacturing industries has decreased in Anikatia’s economy. The Pyongtya province is also making efforts in many ways to improve and modernise the conventional industry structure. The province has begun investing in the promotion of service industries related to soft competitive power such as state-of-the-art IT industry, designing, conventions and tourism, along with its great leap as a commercial hub. Besides this, it is famous for its special local products such as Antiytia rice. The province is home to the substantial portion of the major businesses in the nation, the majority of which are headquartered in Antiytia. Tourism is one of the main industries of the area and the region is home to a number of historical Yeosindo temples and shrines.
Cities and parks
The main cities in the province are Antiytia (the provincial and national capital), Daegok, Pyongsa and Haeongin.
Climate
The climate lies in the humid subtropical climate zone with hot humid summers and generally mild winters with cool spells. The region, usually experiences a warm spring, hot and humid summer, cool autumn, and drier winter which is cold and only rarely experiences sporadic snowfall. Annual rainfall averages nearly 1,530 millimetres (60.2 in), with a wetter summer and a drier winter. The annual average temperature is between 11–13 °C (52–55 °F), where the temperature in the mountainous areas to the east is lower and the coastal areas to the west is higher.
