John Daedalus (Aurelius Daedalus Veiento Iohannes; b. 18 July 1990) is a Latin politician and attorney who currently serves in the Latin Senate, and is the legislative body's youngest active member. He currently serves as on the Collegium Primicerium as Primicerius for Housing and Local Government. Previously, Daedalus served as Senatorial Secretary to the Praeses Senatus.
Daedalus graduated from the University of Aarhusium in 2013, earning a law degree under an extended program. From 2013 until 2015, he worked as a judicial clerk for Anna Laskaris, then a magistrate on the Court of Assidere. Daedalus was later employed as an advisor for Boni Senator Justinian Caepasius. He continued to serve as a policy advisor for Senator Caepasius until he earned a position on Boni faction list ahead of the 2017 election.
Early life, education, career
Aurelius Daedalus Veiento Iohannes was born on 18 July 1990 at St. Joseph–Aarhusium National Hospital in Aarhusium, Latium to Aurelius Daedalus and Joanna Arianita. His father is of Latin descent and has been employed as a police officer for the province of Aarhusium since 1982. His mother attended the University of Aarhusium and has been a primary school teacher for the Aarhusium School Board since 1986. His parents originate from rural county Anio in central Latium and are first cousins. Daedalus has two younger sisters: Maria and Honoria.
Daedalus attended Saint Nicolas Primary School, a state school in Aarhusium for his primary schooling. At the age of 12, he was enrolled at St. Faustus Academy, an independent–private school in nearby Ostia Aterni, which he attended until his commencement in 2007. After taking a gap year where he traveled to Fabria, Sydalon, and Yisrael, Daedaluls enrolled at the University of Aarhusium for university. He participated in the school's extended degree law program. Throughout his schooling, Daedalus worked at nearby law firms and interned for the Boni legal division just before his graduation in 2012.

Election
Deadalus was employed as a policy advisor and political strategist in Senator Justinian Caepasius' offices from 2015 to 2016. Upon the 2017 dissolution of the Senate, Daedalus resigned from his position with Caepasius and successfully earned a spot on the Boni faction list for the 2017 election.
Later leaks demonstrated that Daedalus offered a spot on the faction lists for all other eligible factions, including Boni and the newly formed Alius. When he was sworn in on 21 April 2017, Daedalus became the youngest active Latin Senator.
