The Molfetta-class was a class of advanced cruisers deployed by the Cacertian Royal Navy during the Siduri War. Along with their contemporaries, in the Aurora-class heavy cruisers, they were the last all-gun cruisers built for Cacerta. A total of twelve ships were completed, many of which saw service with Taskforce Center and Taskforce Andria.
Designed as an expansion of the previous Romano-class, the Molfettas were borderline heavy cruisers given their displacement and armament. Outfitted with eighteen auto-loading RN-QF Mark IVs, the ships of the Molfetta-class were arguably some of the most well-armed cruisers in the Cacertian naval arsenal.
After the war, many of the Molfettas were later refitted as hybrid gun and guided-missile cruisers. All of the remaining ships would eventually be decommissioned by 1977 with the majority of them later being scrapped.
