Tensions in Beatavic began during the late 1990's when tensions were high in west Nortua until tensions boiled down into a war in 1992. In April 1992, a group known as the "Mooie Kustbewoners voor Imperium Herleving" (MKIH) would be formed in eastern Beatavic with intentions of overthrowing the Beatavician government, installing a far-right, extremist government and reviving the Beatavician Empire.
