The Grand Army of Ajahadya (Vespasian: Grande Esercito di Adjadyo), more commonly known as the Ajahadyan Army (Esercito Adjadyo) is the land component of the Ajahadyan Armed Forces. It is one the of the four branches of the Ajahadyan Armed Forces, the others being the Ajahadyan Air and Air Defence Force, Ajahadyan Navy and the Republican Guard Rocket Corps, and encompasses a total of approximately 962,283 active troops and 296,985 reserve troops, making it the largest of the four branches.

History

Army of the Rajadom (1880s - 1936)

Etrurian Colonial Army (1936 - 1946)

Army of the Ajahadyan Republic (1946 - 1948)

Army of the Satrian Republic (1948 - 1976)

Army of the Union of Ajahadya (1976 - Present)

Organisation

The Ajahadyan Army is organised into 58 divisions in 4 military regions, further subdivided into 10 corps, along with 5 independent airborne and airmobile brigades, and 15 independent mechanized brigades. Each corps has between 2 and 6 divisions, and each military region has 2 to 4 corps and 2 to 6 brigades.

Ajahadya's surface-to-surface missile inventory is controlled by the Republican Guard Rocket Corps, a separate military branch, except for organic tactical SSM batteries at the divisional level.
