The Piraean Senate (Piraese: Πειραιηκή ἐκκλησία, Pireikí Ekklesia) is the parliament of Piraea located in the Palace of the Republic in Alikianos. The Senate is the supreme legislative body, holding ultimate power over all other political bodies, and represents the citizens through an elected body of Senators.

It a unicameral legislature comprised by 125 members with seats allocated following the Sainte-Laguë method. Elections are held regularly every four years, but may be called earlier at the discretion of the Premier should the Presidency give approval. The Senate has well defined powers and was conceived as a control institution of the government; in practise, the Senate passes laws, approved cabinets, gives or withdraws confidence of Premiers, issues motions of no confidence, censores ministers, approves budgets and others. The Senate has a crucial role during government control sessions, which happen every Thursday and count with the opposition inquiring government ministers about current affairs.
