The Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs (BMiA), is one of the ministries of the Federal Republic of Besmenia and as such a supreme federal authority. It is headquartered in Laitstadt. It is the headquarters of the Foreign Service and responsible for the Besmenian foreign policy.
The current Federal Minister for Foreign Affairs is Ivar Combrinck (SDU).
History
Tasks
The Federal Ministry for Foreign Affairs forms together with the federal diplomatic missions abroad, what is known as the Foreign Service. The ministry takes care of the foreign affairs of the federal government by maintaining the relations between the Federal Republic of Besmenia and foreign states as well as intergovernmental and supranational oranizations. It is regarded as the central hub of Besmenian diplomacy, in which foreign policy analyzes and concepts as well as concrete instructions for action for the Besmenian diplomatic missions abroad are drawn up.
