The GTCO Slug Units (commonly referred to as GTCO RDMATEs or GT Slugs) are a group of 25 GMD GP9 locomotives rebuilt into slugs for use on GTCO owned rail networks. These slugs are the only locomotives currently owned by the Gateway Turtle Company, and are commonly used with other locomotives in long hauls for extra power.
