CGTR #3723, also known as the Phoenix Resilient, is a well known diesel-electric locomotive built in 1964 that survived a massive wreck in 1982. It has been operating on the Central Gateway Turtle Railroad since June of 1964, and was rebuilt from a GE U25C into a GE U36C in 1982, only a month after it plummeted into a lake near Gulfport, Mississippi.
