== Introduction ==
Esvanovia is the third planet from [[Azura's Star]], and the only planet to currently harbor life in the solar system (previously considered to have been the only planet to have harbored life at all until the discovery of life having been present billions of years ago on [[Gunnars]], the fourth planet from Azura). This is enabled by the presence of large oceans on Esvanovia, with it being the only planet to sustain liquid surface water. Esvanovia has a dynamic atmosphere primarily consisting of nitrogen, water vapor, and oxygen, which protects it from asteroids and UV light. The characteristics of this atmosphere create widely varying atmospheric and ocean currents, which create a variety of climate regions found upon the planet, alongside weather conditions such as rain.

At an approximate period of 267 million years ago, the supercontinent known as the [[Panesvan]] would be formed, with numerous species which would later have descendants into the modern period being present, including such notables as an early ancestor to the [[Drekamythian Dragon]] and the [[Drekamythian Wyvern]]. The supercontinent would break apart in the an approximate period of 150 million years ago, with later splits (such as that between minor and major Kistavich) occurring as well. A historical note, the supposed "West Islands Anomaly" (also known as the "Anagonian Continent" by some figures) coming into existence for a period of time before disappearing.
