Gallia-Bruhl (officially the Principality of Gallia-Bruhl) is a small, densely Europan country. The Europan part of Gallia-Bruhl borders the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance to the east, Atlantic Federation to the south and west, the North Sea to the northwest. The largest and most important cities in Gallia are Randgriz, Bruhl and Anthold. Randgriz is the country's capital as well as the Gallian seat of government and parliament. The port of Anthold is the largest port in Europa – as large as the next three largest combined – and was the world's largest port between 1962 and 2004.

Etymology

History

At around 750 BC, Gallia was a part of Europa inhabited by many Darscen tribes. These tribes inhabited lands such as Gaul, Germania, Illyrium, Sarmatia, Hispania, Estharia and Erebonia. (These lands are now named as the Atlantic Federation, Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance, Romania, Esthar and Balamb, Gallia-Bruhl and Erebonian Empire) The Darscens believed in the concept of one God. The religion itself came from Israelia, wherein the driving force of spreading the religion was King Davidus and from this religion, Roman Catholicism would rise and would become the most dominant religion in modern times and the leading religion in Gallia-Bruhl.

The tribes united their lands and formed Europea. The Darscens were had a rich culture and had numerous abundant sources, including the powerful mineral, Ragnite. In 30 AD, The Darscens fought a war with people from a distant land called the Valkyria. The War of the Valkyrur in effect happened with the Darscens defeated and were forced the submit. However, In numerous historical facts, The Valkyria themselves were the ones who started the war and the Darscen traitors rewrote the history to present themselves as the saviors. These conflicts, along with the War of the Valkyrur became known as the Darscen Calamity.

In the 2nd Century, The Valkyrur disappeared but sects are still evident up to this day where worship of them is still present, the strongest is Yggdism. When Constantinus the Great, The First Christian Emperor of the Empire became Emperor, Christianity was declared as the official state religion and applied throughout the lands, this resulted in the dominance of Christianity in Modern Europa and thereby, reducing the number of Yggdists. Constantinus has enriched Gallia with numerous achievements and this period was called as "The Europan Transfiguration" or the "Constantinus Era". However, due to many wars and secessions, The cultures of the Emperor's influenced had been greatly reduced to only 35% of the evidences. To this day, Only three countries; Esthar and Balamb, Gallia-Bruhl and the Erebonian Empire still carry some Constantinus Architecture in some buildings and even have a larger effort in preserving these historical evidences.

In 1703, Gallian Archduke Joseph Charles I reformed the Gallian culture and life in order to move away from its past and to further progress with the rest of the Europan nations, This move gave way to the Gallian culture that is still in existence. In 1743, The Gallian Archduke, Charles II declared war on the Great Lucis because of Lucian battleships sailing near the Mulberry shore. The Lucis-Gallian War erupted with Gallia surrendering its sovereignty to the Lucian Crown. Jutland was claimed by Lucis from Finlandia in 1748 after the North Sea War between Finlandia and Great Lucis. For 191 Years, Gallia was under Lucian Sovereignty until in 2011, when Gallia was finally declared fully independent by the Lucian Parliament with Cordelia assuming the title of "Archduchess of Gallia-Bruhl". In present times, Gallia is still a full fledged member of the Commonwealth of Nations and is still actively participating in Commonwealth Activities.
