While there were many capital cities of smaller entities throughout Zhenian history, only five cities are formally recognized as historical capitals of Zhenia (Zhenian: 진국사 오대고도), both in history and by the Government of the Greater Eastern Union. The five are Donggyeong, Namgyeong, Junggyeong, Seogyeong and Sanggyeong respectively.
