The Republic of Zhenia Air Force (Zhenian: 진화민국 공군) is the air warfare service branch of the Republic of Zhenia Defense Forces. It is one of the five primary military branches of the Greater Easter Union Defense Forces, as well as its second largest branch by manpower after the Army, standing at 338,000 active personnel and over 120,000 reserve personnel. Originally part of the Republic of Zhenia Army until 1922, it became an independent military branch as a result of the 1922 Military Reforms. Although its objectives were traditionally centered around the air superiority, intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR), tactical strike and strategic deterrence, global strike and logistical mobility, its profile has expanded onto more strategic roles as well as space warfare with the establishment of the Republic of Zhenia Space Command in 1990.
