Role | Strike Bomber |
National origin | Imperial and Federal Union |
Manufacturer | Nakajima Aerospace Design Concern |
Primary user | Imperial & Federal Navy |
The S.19 Leopard is a strike bomber designed for service in the Imperial & Federal Navy, though it is also used by the Imperial & Federal Aerospace Troops as a tactical bomber. The S.19 provides a heavy strike capacity to R.u.B Navy Traegergeschwader formations, and is intended to complement the J.21 and J.17 fighters that make up the majority of the carrier group. The S.19 is a specialist strike craft, and is outfitted especially for both void and atmospheric strike missions. Although less maneuverable than either of the fighters it serves alongside, the S.19 boasts extensive range and payload capacity, and is used both as a command craft for larger strikes, a deep space reconnaissance craft, and as a heavy strike craft against both voidships and surface targets. The S.19 is in current mass production, along with its variants.
