Sera Yuzakawa-Kurasawa (12 August 1990) is a Tristainian soldier and television presenter currently serving in the Lucis Armed Forces. She is perhaps known for her work at AF News Patrol. She and her husband, Reisi Kurasawa had anchored the broadcast since 2004. She is currently on temporary leave from the show due to her pregnancy.

Sera has a sister, Sena Yuzakawa, who is currently serving in the same formation as she is.

Early Life

Sera was born in Caen to a family of 5. She was the youngest of her siblings. Her sister, Sena was the second. Sena and Sera also have an older brother, Souta Yuzakawa, who is the eldest and currently serving as the commander of Queen Henrietta's Own Tristanian Horse Guards. Her parents own a Nihhonese confectionery store and was popular throughout the Commonwealth. She, since birth has had a sweet tooth and favors deserts very much and eats them in large quantities. She enrolled at St. Miyamoto University under the Mass Communication program. During her time in college, She became close friends with future fellow officers Aria Suzukaze and Darzana Magbaredge.

Journalism Career

She was first exposed to journalism when she first joined the Journalism Club and became its executive vice-president during her 3rd year in high school. Sera was among the journalists who won the Journalism Excellence Award. In her studies, She loved all subjects except for Mathematics and Chemistry. She decided to become a journalist by the age of 13 and soon became a part of the adolescent division of reporters for LBC News.

AF News Patrol

At the age of 14, Sera was a part of a training program for broadcasters and agreed to be a part of the news team for the about-to-be-cancelled television broadcast, AF News Patrol. She worked with Reisi Kurasawa and the two became the duo broadcasters at AF News Patrol. She received a scholarship for St. Miyamoto University and was able to graduate at the age of 20. She and Reisi continued to work more often and cooperated as well. Soon, their work would blossom into a romantic engagement on September 15, 2011 when they announced their engagement. They were married on October 20, 2012 after the broadcast at the set with many of their friends present.

Military Career

Personal Life

Sera and Reisi have built a very special relationship over the years. They had been news partners for a long time. It started when the two first broadcasted together on the set of AF News Patrol. They started dating on November 15, 2009. On September 15, 2011, The couple announced their engagement and were married in a catholic ceremony at the set of AF News Patrol after the broadcast on October 20, 2012. On October 29, 2016, Sera announced her pregnancy and left the broadcast temporarily with Reisi continuing (and sometimes Karl substituting for him) and Sera's friend Teletha Testarossa filling her in. On June 24, 2017, Reisi and Sera welcomed Jurai Kurasawa.
