The 2019 Earth Humans general election will be the 1st quadrennial Humansian general election and will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019. The presidential primary election is expected to take place from April through July of 2019. The primaries will determine the nominees for the three major parties.

During the primaries, any person, who meets the requirements for president, may run for office. In all the states, whichever candidate receives the plurality of votes will win that state. The parties will then nominate the candidate of their party by who received the most votes in their respective primaries.

Constitutional law prohibits citizens of the Earth Humans territories to vote in general elections.

Nominations

Unlike the last election, Michael Saunders is not running unopposed with one other Liberal, Robin Rosales.

Notes

  1. Sam Jones from The Citadel Post published an article on February 21, 2019 claiming a source within the Executive Mansion stated Watts was eyeing a potential bid for president. The source claims that Michael Saunders was considering withdrawing his bid due to personal reasons and that Watts would run in his place and that an announcement would be made by the end of March or early April. Jones has reached out to Saunders and Watts’ office but did not get a response.
