The East Chanchajilla national football team, nicknamed the Condors, represents East Chanchajilla in men's international football and is controlled by the East Chanchajilla Football Federation, the governing body for football in East Chanchajilla. The team formed in 1946 after splitting from the unified Chanchajilla national team following the Chanchajillan Civil War, which also formed the West national team. Its first ever match was a 2-0 victory in a friendly against Gladysynthia. The national team has qualified for 24 World Cups, having won twice; in 1987 (as hosts) and 2001. Additionally, East Chanchajilla has historically been one of the best performing teams in the Euronia Football Confederation, winning 7 championships (second to Zamastan's 10), and the best performing team in their regional division of the CEFF with 19 cups. Many of the players on the national team are rostered on foreign clubs, as Chanchajillan players are generally scouted by international leagues and highly sought after.
