The Battle of Rosemère was a naval battle off the coast of the Isles of Tarth in the Gulf of Silesia and the only major fleet action in the Winter War. With the Vozhan National Army (VNA) invading Tarth on 16 December 2016, the Atmoran 49th Brigade defending the isles were besieged by the VNA for three days. To relieve the 49th, Admiral Eelco H. Zernitz devised a plan to send a naval task force (Strijdgroep H) under Vice Admiral Sjef Northeimer to the isles.

Schout-bij-nacht Bernard van Messchendorp engaged the Royal Vozhan Navy at 0357 hours marking the largest fleet action in the Halkeginian Sea since the Third Voshan War.
