History
Founding
The ISL was founded in 1900 as a national sports league for soccer.
Joining the KFA
The ISL officially created its international branch and set up participation in the KFA in 1975. The ISL created its method for its team(s) for the KFA, though is a fully independent organization, with the KFA only having authority for the international section regarding the team participating in KFA events..

Structure
Conferences
There are four conferences, the Foxia Conference, Wolvenia Conference, Aquarius Conference, and Vale Conference. Each conference has four teams. As a result, there are a total of 16 teams in the ISL.
Laws and Governance
The ISL Council establishes rules and regulations regarding soccer games in the Empire.
Administrative Costs
The ISL has a budget of A$1 million for administrative costs.

The ISL has a strict disciplinary code with a ISL DIsciplinary Committee to oversee any investigations and rulings in these regards.
