Fernand Bain (born 16 March 1966) is a Zamastanian economist and politician who serves as the Representative for Pahl's 11th congressional district since 2016. Bain graduated from the University of Arinals and earned a Ph.D. in economics from Delmonte University in 1982. He taught as an assistant professor at the University of Tofino from 1983-1988, and served on the board of directors for Zian Provincial Bank from 1987 to 1995. In 1996 he was named Deputy-Secretary of the Treasury under president Abram Mullen and remained through 2004 and Camren Ellison's presidency. Following his term as Deputy-Secretary, Bain served as a managing partner at Pellon-Haron, a private equity firm headquartered in Alanis. He sought elected office in his home district in 2016 and emerged as the GLP nominee and subsequent winner of that election.
