The ''Dispatch'' procured an image of the aftermath of the attack, illustrating the depth of damage (seen at right). The satellite image showed multiple crater marks and darkened areas, the site of heavy military-grade explosions, across the base. Several hangars intended for Ostrozavan aircraft were set ablaze or fully or partially collapsed into rubble. Multiple runways were marked with craters, making the taxi lanes inaccessible for aircraft use. One of the garrison barracks set aside for Ostrozavan use was partially demolished due to a well-placed high-grade military bomb. The media outlet, citing a confidential source in the [[Royal Yisraeli Intelligence Service|RYIS]], leaked that the RYIS assessed that the attack destroyed three fighter jet hangars completely, which had collapsed into a blackened mess of strewn metal bars and scaffold-work, and that three other ammunition and garrison bunking buildings were seriously damaged from fire or partially collapsed.  In addition, two of the main runways for military craft to taxi to and from takeoff faced deep damage to their concrete, with analysts estimating repair work would take months to fully restore the runways. Other minor runways running to the destroyed hangars were largely untouched, either being not targeted or whose explosions failed to go off.

The Gadir incident was an attack on the Ostrozavan-Tyreseian Gadir Joint Logistics Base, by five assailants on 15 September 2022, leading to the capture of two assailants and the deaths of two Tyreseian security guards and three assailants. The attack caused immense damage to the base grounds, particularly to the airbase, incurring a cost of ꬸ180 million ($39 million). At the time, the base, which had incurred both domestic and international controversies, had still been under construction, with a projected start of operations scheduled for November of 2022; its primary objective was to render humanitarian aid and potential military assistance to the NSC in the then-ongoing Fahrani Civil War.

The attackers' employers remain unidentified, but have largely been linked to anti-republican movements and sentiment. Involvement by Yisraeli, Alanahri, and Latin intelligence agencies has been heavily postulated by both the Ostrozavan and Tyreseian governments, as well as several others, although these claims have been vehemently denied. Several investigations were conducted by both Tyreseian [ORG] and the Ostrozavan Civil Guard attempting to find a stronger link; this led to a controversial wiretapping incident in Perateia involving Prince Faisal of Fahran. International reports of the attack say the assault occurred just after 1am on September 15, 2022, led by the Yisraeli Royal Yerushalayim Dispatch. According to the Dispatch and local media affiliates, a series of what was described as timed explosions erupted across the Tyresian Joint Logistics Base Gadir, following by multiple gun battles between dark-clothed assailants and Tyresian garrison troops. A local report estimated it took about 15-25 minutes for Tyresian soldiers to kill and subdue the attacking force of assailants, who were divided into two groups. The initial report of five killed - 3 assailants and two Tyresian soldiers - was accurate, but dozens of others on the base, military and civilian alike, incurred injuries ranging from minor to serious.

The Dispatch procured an image of the aftermath of the attack, illustrating the depth of damage (seen at right). The media outlet, citing a confidential source in the RYIS, leaked that the RYIS assessed that the attack destroyed three fighter jet hangars completely, which had collapsed into a blackened mess of strewn metal bars and scaffold-work, and that three other ammunition and garrison bunking buildings were seriously damaged from fire or partially collapsed.

At approximately 7:30am, Tyreseian state media reported that People's Commissar of National Defense Meir Aroeste (the Tyresian equivalent of the Defense Minister) announced that "a unit of armed gunmen with unknown ties attacked our military facility at Gadir, setting off explosions and firing upon base personnel. Three attackers and two of our base guards were killed in the fighting. The base is under our control and the remainder of the attackers are in our custody. We will find out who did this and execute swift justice for the innocent."
