Heya I'm Blake, I'm the creator of Herastadt and Ostroci, and I co-develop the Arcaeius project alongside my good friend Cameron.

About the Project

Worldbuilding is a longstanding hobby of mine, and I spend a lot (probably too much) of my spare time working on some project or another that usually goes nowhere. Arcaeius has been in constant construction, revision, and reconstruction since around 2013/14, and it still continues to evolve; like some kind of undying alien parasite.

Arcaeius is ultimately a sandbox for us to pitch situations and scenarios that never played out in the real world. What if the Soviet Union survived and the Cold War never ended? What if a Greco-German hybrid culture existed? What if the US was an isolationist confederacy of autonomous republics? What if the Communists lost the Chinese Civil War? What if a Republic became a Monarchy? Et cetera, Et cetera.

In the end its just fun to create stuff.
