Welcome to my user page! My real name is Cameron and I'm the creator of the nation of Prokhogorsk.

Background

I joined NationStates with a group of friends around 2013 with the hopes of simulating Cold War-era geopolitics in our own custom region. This region came to be known as Esermia and started initially as a condensed custom map loosely based on European geography, cultures and nations such as Italy, Germany, Russia and those in Scandinavia. Despite being a group of students in Australia, we were particularly interested with world history and politics. With only around 5 of us at the region's peak, we took control of a nation each and simply added other nations within the region as we saw fit. As our aspirations grew so did our map, with many ideas changing progressively while we maintained a casual but most importantly enjoyable roleplay experience. Over time, life had caught up on us and several members couldn't maintain such a commitment to building their nations. Despite this, myself and another friend, the owner of Herastadt, have continued the spirit of Esermia through the years and the once limited region has grown into its own planet of Arcaeius. Although we never fully explored serious roleplaying such as on the NationStates forums, and have for the most part abandoned NationStates in favour of an in-depth wiki on IIWiki, we still maintain a strong set of ideas and passion for worldbuilding. Since joining IIWiki, I myself have founded another nation of the Jastrun Confederation, and Herastadt has founded the nation of Ostroci. In the future we aim to continue to expand our original nations and develop the complexities of our continent and planet overall.
