The Kingdom of Besmenien, commonly known as West Besmenien, was one of two states during the period of the Division of Besmenien. The kingdom was founded in 1920 and dissolved in 1948, merging with East Besmenien to form the current-day Federal Republic of Besmenien. It was ruled by King Karl Ochsenbein, who led a dictatorial regime.
