The Highlands Regiment, (11th, abbreviated LANDR), is a regiment of the Confederate Brytisc Fleet, with a recruiting area covering much of western Nortymba. It currently consists of two primary battalions and a reserve battalion, and is headquartered in Camp Torr under the command of Colonel John Moorston.

Structure

The Regiment is split into three battalions, with a total strength of 1425 active-duty personnel.

General Staff

  • Col. John Moorston, commanding
    • Regimental Sergeant-Major Alexei Davei
    • Regimental Quartermaster-Sergeant Molly Tolman
  • Lt. Col. Beth McFarlane, 1st Battalion
  • Lt. Col. Guy Crossfields, 2nd Battalion
  • Lt. Col. Ken Hotate, 3rd Battalion

1st Battalion (The Highlanders)

The first battalion, the Highlanders, trade their roots back to the hardened retainers of House Teorell who were used to pacify the native Celti and explore the harsh western coast of the isles. By the 13th Century, the Highlanders had become a semi-formal guild of guides, rangers and lawmen, and it was not until the 17th Century that they were incorporated into the standard army.

2nd Battalion (The Clansmen)

The second battalion, the Clansmen, was established upon the incorporation of the regiment in the 17th century.

3rd Battalion (Reserves)

The third battalion is a reserves and training unit, used for administrative and replenishment purposes. The third battalion is never deployed abroad, and in the absence of the first two battalions is tasked with providing security for the town.
