Schout-bij-nacht Bernard Karel Henri van Messchendorp (born 7 January 1963) is an Atmoran naval officer who serves as Commander of Task Force H (Strijdgroep H) of the Atmoran First Fleet since 19 September 2014. Previously served as commander of Carrier Strike Group 10 from 18 October 2012 to 8 August 2014, with command over the Destroyer Squadron 28 from 7 December 2010 to 17 June 2012 as captain of the HMS Gretigheid (JJG-52). 4
As the commander of Task Force H, Messchendorp was tasked with by Vice Admiral Sjef Northeimer to engage and destroy the Vozhsk Ruthenian Fleet in the Gulf of Silesia. In the largest fleet action since the Third Voshan War, Messchendorp engaged the Vozhsk naval forces at the Battle of Rosemère, forcing the Royal Vozhan Navy to remain in port for the rest of the war.
