With a population of 1.7 million, it is the 20th-most populous state and the 20th-densely populated. With an area of 19,956 km2 (7,705 sq mi), it is the 18th-largest state by area. It is situated on the northern part of the Crescent Plains, with the Cydacyll Highlands making up its central regions.
