The Covenant is a transhumanist technocratic theocracy located in the Kibos Arm of the Talin Galaxy. Administered by a human conscious uploaded to a quantum supercomputer artificial intelligence, the Covenant consists of Homo Ascendes, a neo-human species that evolved on their home planet of Crucibos after the first humans settled there and adapted to the new world. They make heavy use of biological and mechanical augmentations to their bodies, worship their computer overlord, and view all non-believing humans as heretics who need to convert or die. They also view all non-human sentient species as heathens to be eradicated.
