Before 330 BC

330 BC - O AD

Year Date Event
330 BC Shen Lien declares the Zhen dynasty an empire, following the unification of mainland Zhenia and the Danguk peninsula; from this point, Shen Lien is known to Zhenian history as Emperor Taizo of Zhen, the first Emperor in Zhenian history.
322 BC Construction of Sanggyeong is complete; Emperor Taizo relocates the imperial capital from modern-day northern Jinshan to Sanggyeong.

Year Date Event
1851 January 7 The Siege of Junggyeong: Shindan forces, with support from surrendered Greater Wu forces, Emperor Shinzhong and Balakhaat militia, defeat the surviving Greater Wu forces in Junggyeong. Emperor Aizong is captured and put to trial.
February 19 Emperor Aizong, regarded as the illegitimate usurper of the throne, is convicted of numerous crimes and is executed; at the same day, the remaining Royalists and regional warlords around Zhenia declare independence in unison, hence initiating the Zhenian Civil War.
August 3 Seongjo declares Shindan an empire and thrones himself as emperor, amid the civil war.
