Emil Medved is the Chancellor of the Grand Principality of Rhynovia.
Emil Medved was born the the Grand Duke and Duchess of Warszwiec in the Grand Principality of Rhynovia in 1949. He attended school with many other children of noble birth including relations to the Royal Family of Rhynovia whom he had many connections. He was noted by his teachers as being rather simple in his studies, never going beyond many of his classmates and not destined to be much of a mind. At the age of 12 during the Red Revolution Emil fled the country with his family to Tarsas where many Rhynovian aristocrats remained in exile for the duration of the Rhynovian Worker's Republic.
While in exile Emil attended Tarsian school where his studies improved significantly. Upon graduation Emil took part in a short stint in the Rhynovian Royalist Resistance in Rhynovia where he fought communist forces throughout the country. At the age of 25 he ended his military career due to poor respiratory health and entered service of the Rhynovian Foreign Estate, a government in exile for those loyal to royalist ideals in Rhynovia. As part of the estate Emil served as diplomatic liaison to many countries including Tarsas, Belfras, Arkoenn, and Yisrael.
Upon the fall of the Worker's Republic in 2004, Emil was one of the first members of the nobility to return to the country. Upon his arrival he was met with much resistance from elements of the Rhynovian political sphere who accused his sudden arrival after the Worker's Republic's collapse as opportunistic to gain power for the aristocracy once more. Acting in a role of good faith Emil stayed away from politics for several years, instead partaking in charity work with children and the in-firmed. Emil remained critical of the new democratic government and the direction it was taking with regards to economy, letting larger foreign businesses from Nekulturnya exploit the people of Rhynovia. After it was revealed that the democratic leadership of the Republic of Rhynovia was being bought and given orders from elements of the Nekulturnyan government, the people turned to Emil Medved to form a government more closely aligned with Rhynovia's history, a new monarchy.
As the Lord Governor of the newly re-formed Grand Principality of Rhynovia, Emil set out to find the true monarch of the Rhynovian throne, the Grand Duchess Karina Aristov who was rumored to be hidden among the masses of the world, lost since the demise of the Aristov family in their hotel room fire. After many years of searching, Emil Medved was able to find the Grand Duchess and bring her back to Rhynovia where he took her under his guardianship, tutoring her in the ways of state and leadership. Upon her ascension to the throne of Rhynovia, Grand Duke Emil Medved assumed the role of Chancellor of Rhynovia, and charged with the day to day operations of her majesty's government.
