Friedrich Bock was a Besmenian statesman, who was from 1940 to 1944 Prime Minister of Besmenia. Bock was also from 1935 to 1940 Deputy Leader of the Besmenian People's Party.

After the 1940 East Besmenian federal election, he formed, with the Free Besmenian Citizen's Party as a coalition partner, the Bock cabinet. It was the first time, that the FBBP was involved in the federal government. For the 1943 East Besmenian presidential election, Bock ran as candidate for his party. However, he was defeated by the Social Democratic Union with Karsten Herzog as their candidate.

Since Garima and East Besmenia had a bad relationship at the time of the Besmenian division, especially since Garima viewed West Besmenia as "actual" Besmenia, many political opponents tried to belittle Bock because of his Gariman origins.
