The 2021 Astyrian Formula One Championship is a planned motor racing championship marking the 61st running of Astyrian Formula One. It is the highest class of competition for open-wheel racing cars by the Astyrian Motorsport Federation (AMF). The season will begin in February and end in November, covering 22 grands prix in 20 countries throughout Astyria. Drivers and constructors will be competing to win the Drivers' Championship and Constructors' Championship, respectively.

With the departure of reigning Drivers' Champion Simo Rassinen, this will mark the first season since < year > where a reigning champion did not compete. Sidus will be starting the season as the defending champions for the Constructors' Championship, having won their 4th title in the 2020 Confederate Grand Prix.

Team changes

Sorsa and Cozworth have announced that they will no longer supply power units beyond 2020. Sorsa has supplied the Delaney, Kappaksturslid, and Sevir teams for the 2020 season, while Cozworth supplied the Merlin team. In light of this, these teams have switched to Sidus, Breuer, and Phaeton engines, respectively.

Slovertian auto manufacturer AMZ will be joining the Formula One grid, becoming the first Slovertian team to compete in a championship season. In order to save costs on development, AMZ sources power units from Sidus.
