Bryson Woodward (11 December 1811 - 2 September 1899) was a Zamastanian politician who served as the President of Zamastan for a single term from 1866-1868. His term was marked by controversy due to his concessions to the Parabocan empire on the frontier settlements, seen as a prelude to conflict. His failure to forestall the Parabocan War has been described as incompetence, and he spent his last years defending his reputation. He also oversaw a period of economic recession which damaged the banking system for decades. Historians and scholars consistently rank Woodward as one of the worst presidents in Zamastanian history
