Geography and Climate
Natural Geography
The country of Eserrei has many geographic features to its landscape. The three main natural features that define Eserrei are the Kyddis mountains which shape the eastern border sort of like a spine. The primary range is predominantly located in the Kloyszten, Sren and Burzinai provinces towards the southeast region of the country. This region is defined by rocky mountain peaks and plateaus covered in grasslands. Because of the aggressive landscape, this region is the least densley populated in Eserrei. Most cities and towns in the region are spread out where the terrain relents enough for development. The highest mountain peak is Mt. Pilotin at 9,415ft above sea level which is located in the Kloyszten province near Intalawa.
In the central and southern region is the river lowlands which is considered the breadbasket of Eserrei and well suited for farming. The main two rivers Sztro and Fore rivers, both flow from east to west from the Kyddis mountains to the Casarta Sea. There are smaller mountain ranges here as well most notably the Polva range, which runs from near the southern border with Latilli northwest into the Kardowa province. The northwest coastal region is known for it's rocky and jagged coastline and lush, dense forests of pine trees. The Tynotis mountain range while far smaller in elevation is known for having the enormous Sequitys trees which climb as high as 300ft and a diameter of up to around 35 ft. This region also boasts Sztrolawa's most popular tourism, with Eserrei national park on the coast and the Tynotis mountains just inland. To the farthest north we have the Uvvatis province which stands alone with it's great lakes and deep gorges. The elevations of the mountains here are lower than in the south however.
Climate
According to the Köppen climate classification, most of the coastal Western Eserrei has a warm-summer maritime climate, which features warm, dry summers, and wet winters with frequent overcast and cloudy skies. Mountainous Eastern Eserrei falls into the cold semi-arid climate, which features drier weather.

Sports
Many Eser enjoy spectacing and participating in sports. The most popular sports nationwide include association football, downhill and cross-country skiing, tennis, cycling, ice hockey and motor racing. Being a colder weather nation in much of the country, Eserrei performs better in these events than traditional warm weather competitions internationally. In the last few decades youth participation in tennis has grown particularly with the construction of indoor tennis facilities to allow for players to compete year round even though the temperatures in most of Eserrei in the winter can be very cold.
One of the more popular spectator sports series is the Eserrei Super Kart series. The Super Kart series is a single seat open wheeled car series with races all over the country. The series takes place from April through October and has existed in its current form since 1963.
Eserrei also has national league for ice hockey and association football which draws large crowds. Vintas National Stadium is the traditional home for the Eser national football team as well as hosting national competitions. The stadium is in the northeast neighborhood of Ilintai and has a capacity of 59,000. Polva stadium in Tahlona also hosts national football team games in its 52,000 seat stadium.
