Thomas Falkner (full name: Thomas Kaniefer Falkner, born 2 April 1982) is a Mascyllary politician serving as Prime Minister of the Crowned Republic of Mascylla and Leader of the Deer's Union since 2016. He served as Minister of the Realm from 2010 to 2016. Falkner was first elected Member of Parliament for Meindenhod in 1997. Ideologically, he identifies himself as a one-nation conservative.
Falkner grew up in Bahndorf and attended Sankt Huch's College, Wilhelmshagen. From 1977 until 1983, he worked for the Grand Bank of Mascylla, and from 1985 until 1997 at the Association for Payment Clearing Services, also serving as a councillor for Dornenfeld in Merntohn. After unsuccessful attempts to be elected to the National Assembly in 1992 and 1994, he was elected as the member of the Assembly for Meindenhod in the 1997 general election. After the formation of a coalition government following the 2010 general election, Falkner was appointed Minister of the Realm and Minister for Equalities, giving up the latter role in 2012. Reappointed after the Conservative victory in the 2015 general election, he went on to become the longest-serving Minister of the Realm in over 60 years. During his tenure he pursued reform of the Police Federation, implemented a softer line on drugs policy including the legalisation of khat, oversaw the introduction of elected Police and Crime Commissioners, the deportation of Abu Qatada, the creation of the National Crime Agency and brought in fewer restrictions on immigration. Following Folln's resignation, Falkner won a leadership election in July 2016, becoming the ninth male Prime Minister.
