Alice Myeong-hui Janggok (14 February 1991) is a Joyonghean officer and soldier serving in the Teugbudae. She is posted in Unit 3, and would prove to be one of its most reliable commanders. From this, she was recommended by her superiors to be part of Task Force 853. To her non-Joyonghean friends and colleagues, she is known as Alice.
Alice is a member of the Tansan Jaggok clan, an upper-class clan whose industries focused on law, finance and politics. She was educated to be a lawyer by her family, but could not be complacent, and was disowned at 18 with a reasonable income. Under the name Muk Yoon-jung, she eventually volunteered for the Joyonghean Sovereign Army at age 20, and with skill, adeptness and diligence, she was placed in the Teugbudae, and served in Unit 3 throughout the Imperial Crisis, Chalcedonic War and Neocon War.
Before the Deseleni War, she returned to her family as a means of reconciliation, which meant that she had to cut ties with her friends. Because of the clan's lineage to the Seleucid dynasty, Alice was compelled to offer her services to her older cousin Cheonsu of Joyonghea, much to the surprise of her friends.
