Maximillian Georg Gaius von Reginrave (16 August 1942 - 25 May 2008) or simply Maximillian II was the Emperor of the Autocratic East Europan Imperial Alliance from 1975 to 2005. He succeeded his father, Maximillian I after the latter committed suicide during the last days of the War of Lorican Aggression. He is also as Generalissimo Maximillian II as part of his Imperial title of being the commander of the Imperial Armed Forces of East Europa. As opposed to his father, he was more conservative, often negotiating peace terms with the Lucis Commonwealth and the Association of Asianna Nations. He was also considered by many world leaders as the most honorable and respected Emperor of the East Empire. He was also the first Emperor to visit all of the Commonwealth nations. He was affectionately called Uncle Max.
He was assassinated by his own son, Maximillian Joseph a few months after the Second Lucis Civil War ended. Many witnesses believed that Maximillian's son was plotting to take over the throne and ignite a total war with the allied nations. 6 years later, the Imperial Crisis sparked.
